The Knight at Dawn (Magic Tree House, No. 2) Review

I like this book because it has some very good parts. In the book the tree house takes Jack and Annie to a castle were there are scary knights. I compared the book Mummies in the Morning to the Knight at Dawn book, I thought Knight at Dawn was better because the knights saved Jack and Annie. In the mummy book nobody saved them. The ghost, the mummy, and the ghost queen chased Jack and Annie. My favorite part was when Jack and Annie got to the castle and they fell off a bridge into a moat, and then the knight saved them. Another awesome part was when the tree house took them back home, and when they got home they ate sandwiches! Also, the knights' helmets weighed as much as a five year old kid (40 pounds).
My next book is going to be Night of the Ninjas in English. The author is called Mary Pope Osborne, she is my favorite author I know. This book took me about two weeks to read. Kids in 3rd or 4th grade, that like mysteries, will like this book.

This is one of the most interesting books in the series. The series is fantasy, and I recommend it to grades 2-4. This is great for kids and it gives you facts about what or where they are near. This is probably one of the best series books I have ever read.
The Knight at Dawn - -
This book was fantastic. Jack and Annie went back to when knights were around. They walked around a castle. They fell in a moat and the knight saved them.
I learned some interesting facts. The knights wore armor when they traveled long and dangerous distances. A helmet could weigh up to 40 pounds. I learned that drawbridges crossed moats. Moats helped protect the castle from enemies.
I would recommend this book for three reasons. One reason is you can learn lots of stuff about knights and castles. Another reason is because Jack and Annie can go back in time and have an adventure. A third reason because Jack was protecting his sister Annie when they fell in the moat.
The Knight at Dawn is an interesting book about two kids.
